Boreham to help decide Wellywood alternatives

Tue 14 Jun 2011 In: New Zealand Daily News View at Wayback

The gay Wellingtonian who led the charge against the Wellywood sign will be on the panel which decides on alternatives to replace the divisive proposal. Andy Boreham, who organised the slow drive protest at Wellington Airport to show public opposition to the plan, is on the seven-member panel which is set to be led by Greater Wellington regional council chairwoman Fran Wilde. The panel is due to meet for the first time on Thursday.
