Out Takes opening night film sells out

Tonight's opening night Out Takes film for men has sold out two theatres at Auckland's Rialto Cinemas. French film The String will open the festival tonight. The 'sunny gay romance' features actress Claudia Cardinale and is set in Tunisia, as her son Malik returns home from France and falls for an Arab house boy. The film for women is A Marine Story, a look at the 'don't ask don't tell' policy in the US military. It's nearly sold out but there are limited tickets left. Both films begin at 8.30pm at Rialto in Newmarket, however the opening night festivities begin at 7pm with drink specials at the bar and a prize draw.
