Jevan Goulter Mr Gay Wellington has dropped Jevan Goulter as a judge after Steven Gray announced he would not MC the show if Goulter was involved. "Self proclaimed scandalmonger, Jevan Goulter has been axed from Mr Gay Wellington 2011 judge panel," reads a statement from event organiser Greig Wilson. "The recent announcement of Jevan's involvement in the high profile Mr Gay Wellington pageant has sent shock waves throughout the gay community," he continues. Greig says pressure has been building since Goulter was announced as a judge; however the last straw came when Gray revealed he would not work with him, apparently because he is afraid that Goulter will try to eat him. "I expected his involvement would create a bit of a stir but did not think it would reach this point, in hind sight perhaps he was not the best choice, anyway, the public have spoken and we have to listen," Wilson says. A co-owner of recently opened Emperor's Sauna has been confirmed as a judge and major sponsor of the event, offering up a year's membership for winner. Goulter is now considering entering Mr Gay Wellington as a contestant. The event is being held on Sunday 5 June at The Garden Club, from 8pm.
