The New Zealand AIDS Foundation is looking for a new Social Marketing Coordinator whose role will be to use technology to encourage condom use among gay and bisexual men. The vacancy has been advertised on the Foundation's website and states it would be ideal for someone "who is committed to takatāpui tāne wearing condoms every time they have sex." The position is fulltime and Auckland-based, with the successful candidate joining the NZAF's social marketing team on initiatives across media and events. The ad says the successful candidate will have experience in public health, social marketing, information technology and or Māori development, knowledge of Tikanga me Te Reo Māori, knowledge and awareness of Takatāpui communities and their whānau and understanding of behaviour change with Māori. They also need experience using technology as a way of communicating with mass audiences "and a pro-sexual and non-judgemental approach to sexuality and sex".
