The BBC is putting the finishing touched on a deal to bring back gay-favourite Absolutely Fabulous. The sitcom, which ran for five seasons and turned Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders into gay icons, was first broadcast in 1992. Lumley has told Hello! magazine three new episodes will be filmed later this year. A BBC spokeswoman says: "We're putting the finishing touches to the deal to bring it back and as soon as we're in a position to confirm it we will."
