Labour Leader Phil Goff "hopes" Damien O'Connor will apologise to the party caucus Phil Goff is hopeful the MP he describes as "sometimes a little hot headed" will apologise to the Labour caucus over his comments about the selection of the party list. Damien O'Connor has apologised to Goff for saying the list was dominated by "unionists and a gaggle of gays". O'Connor is due to face the caucus today. "He's apologised to me and I want him to extend that to caucus", Goff has told TV ONE's Breakfast. TVNZ says Goff "ducked" the issue when asked whether O'Connor would apologise for causing offence, or for getting it wrong. "Damien is Damien, he says things which are sometimes a little hot headed."
