A handsome young prostitute learns about life and love during a sex-filled odyssey in an apartment building filled with strange inhabitants. “Over the course of one long, rainy night in a labyrinthine apartment building, the hustler will play a long-lost friend, a reminder of spent youth and a dangerous liaison, each successive encounter nudging him toward self-examination. The film’s intellectual aspirations are evident (the dialogue is peppered with Foucault and Shakespeare), but not oppressively so, and the actors perform with an ease that smoothes the story’s episodic structure. Especially notable are Paul Gerrior, as an aging civil-rights warrior, and Nick Frangione, as a lonely trick more interested in connection than sex,” - Jeanette Catsoulis, New York Times. Written and directed by Joseph Graham. Running time: 1 hour 35 minutes. WITH: Ben Bonenfant (the Hustler), Artem Mishin (John), Michael Carlisi (Gypsy Troubadour), Carlo D’Amore (Leon), Raphael Barker (Jacob), Paul Gerrior (Sam), Nick Frangione (Gary) and John Kiernan (Tommy).
