An impressive couple during grading 6.25PM: Grading is underway at the Outgames Dancesport competition at the Wellington Town Hall. Same-sex couples are on the floor in their finery showing off their skills in a variety of dance formats, in a competition compered by Dancing With The Stars winner and TVNZ Breakfast's roving reporter Tamati Coffey. The styles being graded are the Waltz and Tango in the Ballroom section, the Palma Waltz and Gypsy Tap in the New Vogue category and the Cha Cha Cha and Samba in the Latin category. There is a steadily growing crowd at the Town Hall and people are in full voice supporting their favourite dancers. Entry is $15 and the competition runs till 10pm.
