9.15AM: One hundred and eleven runners have just left Fryberg Beach in Central Wellington for the 2nd,Asia Pacific Out Games running race. The runners, of all ages and sexualities represent nations as varied as Canada, Germany, Nepal, Venezuela and Fiji. The runners will pound the pavement around the foreshore, with 34 turning back at Greta Point for the 5k race and the remainder going all the way to the wind needle before their turn.
