Concert to raise funds for Blooming Bulbs

Auckland's Gay and Lesbian Singers (GALS) are preparing a fundraising concert for the two women whose business Blooming Bulbs was destroyed in an arson attack in the coastal Northland town of Mangawhai Heads. The Blooming Bulbs Benefit concert will be held at the Grey Lynn Community Centre at 5.30pm on 19 March. Tickets are $25 will all proceeds going to the pair. There will also be a fundraising raffle for the fire victims, Lindsay Curnow and Juliet Leigh. The concert will feature special guests M*lasses and singer-songwriter Jodi Pringle. Tickets are available from GALS member and the Women's Bookshop at 105 Ponsonby Rd. People who can't attend due to the Outgames are still helping out by buying "non-attending" tickets.
