GHB was seized in the raid. Sydney Police say approximately three litres of GHB destined for Mardi Gras events has been seized from a unit in Coogee during a raid. A 27-year-old man was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station, where a glass bottle containing the liquid drug GHB was found on his along with a number of ecstasy tablets, a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia. Police conducted a search warrant at his unit in Coogee where they allegedly located approximately three litres of GHB stored in a number of containers. Police will allege the drug has an estimated potential street value of $16,500 and was intended to be supplied at the Mardi Gras parade.
