Christchurch glbt youth group Q-topia says all its members and facilitators are ok, but its second inner-city facility was "munted" in last week's quake and it's unclear when it will be able to next meet up. The social support group was formerly housed at the community centre White Elephant HQ on Bedford Row, near Lichfield St, which was already badly damaged in the deeper September quake and had an uncertain future. Last month it began using the facilities of Unlimited School in Cashel Mall as a meeting place, but the second venue has been so badly damaged by last week's quake there access has been blocked for an indefinite period. "[The school] was pretty munted from what I hear," says Q-topiafacilitator Akira Le Fevre. "Not that we can get into the CDB to actually check". However he promises Q-topia will be back as soon as it can, "bigger and more fabulous!" A message has been sent out to members saying: "once the dust settles on our beautiful city we will try and arrange a wee get together somewhere so we can recharge our fabulousness. Until then if there is anything you need, whether its someone to talk to, water, food or a hug please let us know. Please take care of each other and stay safe."
