Audio from C.L.I.T Fest (Combatting Latent Inequalities Together), held at the Irish Society Hall in Wellington on the 1st and 2nd June 2013.
C.L.I.T Fest has been happening around the world since 2004 as a feminist DIY punk festival, challenging oppressive norms within punk and alt scenes. C.L.I.T Fest Wellington 2013 widened it beyond punk, into other scenes the organisers were a part of, explicity talking back to the intersections of colonisation, transmisogyny, fatphobia, racism, sexism, ableism, sex work hatred, homophobia, transphobia and classism.
A special thank you to the organisers and participants for allowing us to record parts of the fest. These podcasts have been edited to remove participants that did not want to be recorded.
